Ahh, we all know the success story of the tiny underdog would defied the odds and carried a large train up a hill. I’ve always felt that a large part of success is in confidence.
My mother found this old skirt of hers as I was moving out and asked me to try it on. I fell in love with it immediately. While very much a work skirt, I wanted to take it out for a spin in a much more casual setting so I paired it with a black cropped tank for a touch of edge. I threw on a pair of pumps for height, and my confidence surged.
Confidence and body language go hand-in-hand. Your body language can affect your success in the work place, in dating, or other endeavors. Confidence can shine through in nonverbal language, and adopting a powerful stance can also help you feel more confident. We call it the power pose, the power stance, or as I like to call it, my boss lady pose.
